Organisation:

SEC Consult was founded in 2002. Our main activities are penetration testing and training; consulting and implementation of information security management procedures.

We look for persons who have the skills to do penetration testing, consult clients on how to remove security weaknesses and provide training and facilitate workshops on information security.

Software Developer JAVA

Job description:

Development of an Eclipse-based framework and toolset in a team of developers
Technical realisation of actual research results in the field of static and dynamic source code analysis
Attendance of the application development from the technical design matching up to closing tests and deployment in the target environment

You should have:

Successfully completed academic studies of computer science or a comparable education and/or sufficient experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional software developer
Well-founded knowledge in the field of JAVA and J2EE
Experience with the Eclipse application development environment and the development of Eclipse-Plugins
Project experience with tools like Cruise-Control, CVS or subversion
Experience with other runtime-products (Hibernate, Tapestry/JSF, SOAP, EJB, XML, XSLT/FOP) and web application frameworks (Struts, Websphere, etc) are beneficial
Experience in the field of technical information security is beneficial

Tech. Security Consultant

Job description:

Independent realisation of manual penetration tests
Support of our customers at the elimination of security vulnerabilities
Conduction of training courses and workshops

You should have:

Excellent IT skills (Windows, *nix, networks)
Knowledge in the field of system- and application security ("hacker" experience)
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experience in the field of security management and programming skills are advantageous
Beneficial but not mandatory is a completed academic study

Org. Security Consultant

Job description:

Consulting for our customers in the field of information security management
Independent implementation of information security management processes on the basis of established standards. In the course of that you develop security policies, conduct risk assessments together with the customer and choose appropriate measures to manage those risks.
Conduction of training courses and workshops

You should have:

IT skills (Windows, *nix, networks)
Standards like ISO 27002 (formerly ISO 17799), the German guide for baseline information security ("Grundschutzhandbuch") or the Austrian security handbook ("Sicherheitshandbuch") should not be foreign to you
Experience in the field of information security management
Willingness to travel
Fluent in spoken and written English
Beneficial but not mandatory is a completed academic study
